Fiona Yow (nee Lough) is a senior physiotherapist in cardiovascular health and rehabilitation at University College Hospital in London, with a specialist interest in exercise prescription for CVD patients. She has worked in cardiac rehabilitation for over 28 years and has served on various national CR, heart failure & exercise prescription steering groups and committees, including BACPR Council, ACPICR, BHF and BSH. She was a tutor on the BACPR Phase 4 and BACPR HF training courses, a co- author for the Cochrane Systematic Review on exercise based rehabilitation for heart failure patients and has contributed to various other texts, teaching manuals and publications for CR professionals, physiotherapists and exercise specialists.
